IAmLearn Photo Contest
Images say more than a thousand words! In order to show what the IAmLearn is about we are looking for photos on mobile learning. Therefore we started the IAmLearn Photo contest on Facebook as we are looking for cover photos for IAmLearn's pages on Facebook, Twitter, and the official IAmLearn homepage. This is a great and simple way for you to enhance the presence of the IAmLearn.
IAmLearn in the Social Media
For a long time the IAmLearn had only its web-site and mailing list to get in touch with the community. With the beginning of 2013 we launched our presence on Facebook and Twitter. We are looking forward having also a presence on other platforms.
Social networks and social communication channels offer good ways of reaching out to the community. The IAmLearn has started a presence on these channels in order to provide more visibility of our members' work.
At the mLearn 2012 in Helsinki the concept of IAmLearn Special Interest Groups has been revived by four groups. The idea of the IAmLearn SIGs arose out of the diversity of mobile learning applications and research questions. With the SIGs the IAmLearn now has a structure for more focused discussions about ongoing research and practice.
After mLearn 2012 we have started with four SIGs on the following topics.
