SIGs

IAmLearn members have access to the following SIGs

Language Learning

The aim of this SIG is to provide a community of practice for researchers and practitioners of mobile language learning projects. To share best practice in design and pedagogy, lessons learned and research within that community of practice and engage with the wider community outside IAMLEARN

Gender

To provide a space for researchers and practitioners within IAmLearn who are interested in exploring the connections between gender and mobile learning.

Early career doctoral researchers

The key objective of this SIG is to bring together mobile learning early career researchers spread across different universities and institutions around the globe. We aim to build a strong community of practice for early career and doctoral researchers who want to support each other by presenting, discussing and evaluating their own work. Moreover, it is a platform for sharing best practices, empirical observations, theoretical perspectives as well as research techniques and to address questions pertaining to the unique ethos of mobile learning research.

Tablets in learning

This SIG is for members who are working with tablets or researching tablet use in teaching and learning.
